OVERVIEW:
The Hartford Auto Insurance wanted to spread the word about their exclusive program for the 50+ AARP audience. Driving awareness through the social space, the charge was to create a mini campaign using their existing footage.
MY ROLE:
I worked as part of a team producing a fun and energetic social campaign "Auto Insurance for people who don’t stop at 50”.
We don’t just want cut-downs…
The original TV spots were very technical and straight to the point, touting the many benefits of the auto insurance. But let’s set ourselves apart, let’s make something fun and worthy of the social space.
Luckily, we got the raw footage! A blessing and a curse, of course. Over 100 Gigs, 7 different actors, and over 24+ hours of footage to comb through—whoa! Mining for the spontaneous gems that would come up in conversation (often between cuts) we were able to put together 4 unique video shorts and a slew of social assets.






Not only was I thrilled to feel like I spent an entire road trim with acting legend Matt McCoy, but the client was amazed with what we were able to come up with!
